We were the first restaurant in Cheltenham to create an 'open kitchen' so customers can see their food being prepared. With its pleasant alcoves and different sized function rooms, the Ruby restaurant offers a private venue that is also able to host commercial events.
We cater for every need and a wide variety of occasions, from select private dining to large commercial functions. Simon Ho has owned and run the Ruby restaurant for nearly 20 years and is devoted to his work. He loves food from all over the world and takes great pleasure in selecting fine wines to complement Chinese cuisine.
Simon is dedicated to his customers, ensuring that every time they visit the Ruby they enjoy the finest dining experience. When he's not in the restaurant, Simon is a doting father who loves to ski whenever he can take time off work.

Our head chef, Fong Fong, trained in Hong Kong, and has worked at the top of his profession for more than 30 years. Fong is passionate about his food and likes nothing better than to tempt his customers with innovative cuisine from different Chinese regions.
Fong's invention is endless: he loves introducing new ideas and can often be found experimenting with new ingredients to create delightful dishes.
